Subject of the contract/purchase
The order is confirmed to the customer’s (the estate representative’s) email, by phone or at a customer meeting. Objection period 3 days (possibility for changes).

Law
We comply with the provisions of the Funeral Services Act, according to which the deceased must be buried or cremated without undue delay. The body of the deceased is handled with respect and the memory of the deceased is honoured. In the burial and cremation of the deceased and in the handling of the ashes, the beliefs and wishes of the deceased are primarily respected.

Payment of invoices
Funeral-related invoices are issued in the name of the estate so that they can be included in the estate inventory. Although the invoices are written in the name of the estate, the orderer is responsible for paying the invoices. The estate cannot act as a contracting party. Funeral-related invoices are so-called primary estate expenses and the payer has the right to receive reimbursement from the estate’s assets against the payment receipts presented. Service providers: The headstone supplier, estate inventory preparer, catering service/photographer invoice their services directly from the estate/orderer. The same applies to the crematorium foundation and parishes/parish unions (burial plots/cremation).

Accuracy of information
The orderer is responsible for ensuring that all information has been provided correctly. The funeral home is not liable for any harm or damage caused by potentially incorrect information provided by the orderer, such as addresses, phone numbers and email addresses. Providing incorrect information may lead to additional work, which will be invoiced from the orderer. In such cases, the funeral home has no obligation to compensate the orderer or any third party for direct or indirect damages. The orderer is responsible for informing the funeral home of the location of the deceased. If the location of the deceased has changed, additional transportation costs may arise that could not be anticipated at the time the contract was made. The orderer will be informed of additional costs as soon as possible.

Incorrect/incomplete information that most commonly causes additional costs includes:
1) Size of the deceased. If the deceased does not fit in the ordered coffin, the coffin must be replaced.
2) Pacemaker. If the deceased has an unremoved pacemaker, cremation cannot be performed.
3) Location of the deceased. If the deceased is not at the reported location.

Products and materials
The images and products displayed on the funeral and flower service pages are handcrafted based on orders. There may be slight colour variations in the final result. Wood grain varies in coffins and not all flower varieties are always available. Substitute flowers are always selected from flowers as similar as possible to the originals.

Order cancellation
If the orderer wishes to cancel or modify the order, this is possible. However, in accordance with the Distance Selling Act, the orderer has incurred liability for compensation for work already performed and products already delivered. For example, cancelling or replacing a coffin is only possible until the deceased has been placed in the coffin.

Defect liability and complaints
The funeral home has statutory defect liability for services and products sold. In case of complaints, we kindly ask you to contact us immediately by phone.
