We assist you with all matters related to funerals and funeral arrangements.
Funeral arrangements always include a coffin, transportation of the coffin, and, where applicable, a cremation urn. In addition, we charge a document processing fee of €55. Burial fees and any related charges are invoiced separately by the local parish union.
Depending on the chosen form of burial, a cremation urn and a burial place for the urn or for the ashes in a memorial grove or at sea may also be required.
A church or chapel is always required for a funeral service. We take care of all venue reservations and communication with the parish on your behalf. For families who do not belong to the Evangelical Lutheran Church, farewell ceremonies in the Helsinki metropolitan area are typically held in the chapels of the Hietaniemi Crematorium Foundation. Instead of a minister, these ceremonies are led by a celebrant, who may be a family member or arranged through us.
Memorial gatherings are often held in parish facilities connected to the church or in other venues. We handle venue reservations and necessary catering services, and also arrange transportation for attendees if needed.
We provide estate administration and legal services in cooperation with Laki Helppi. Consultations can be arranged by phone, online, or at a location that is most convenient for you.
The first coffin transportation within the Helsinki metropolitan area costs €280. This includes placing and dressing the deceased in the coffin as well as transportation of the coffin. Additional coffin transportations are charged at €220 per transfer. In most cases, transportation is provided from the place where the deceased is resting to the funeral service or burial site. Transportation outside the Helsinki metropolitan area is priced individually.
We can also arrange pallbearers (€100 per pallbearer). A minimum of six pallbearers is required.

If you wish, the form can also serve as a preliminary order. In that case, please complete the information about the deceased and the person placing the order carefully. This enables us to contact you and complete any missing details together with you. The final order is always confirmed separately after we have been in contact with you. We will contact you on the next business day or at another time you request.
